The Working Conference Location: De Balie
Incommunicado 05 will take place at De Balie, a renowned Dutch institute for media, politics and culture in the centre of Amsterdam. The conference location itself supports open exchange and networking. Click here for a map of downtown Amsterdam.
Reaching De Balie by Public Transport
From Amsterdam Central Station you can get to De Balie by using tram #1, #2 or #5 (stop 'Leidseplein').
From Railway station Amsterdam Zuid/WTC, you can get to De Balie by tram #5 (stop 'Leidseplein').
From other locations in Amsterdam, also tram #6, #7 and #10 have a stop at the Leidseplein.
De Balie is situated opposite the City Cinema Theatre.
Reaching De Balie by car
The centre of Amsterdam can be reached by car but you have to deal with heavy traffic, and parking space is hard to find. There are two two parking lots near De Balie: Byzantium at the Stadhouderskade, next to the entrance of the Vondelpark and Europarking at the Marnixstraat.
